Meet The Teacher
Over the past 14 years, Troy's stress free, student led approach has helped thousands of students from ages 3 to 77 confidently express themselves through the guitar.
Troy studied Classical Guitar at the Victoria Conservatory of Music, and holds his Level 9 from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Canada.
Outside of the classical music space, he played in a metal band for 6 years, and opened for his favourite band (Protest The Hero) on one of their western Canada tours.
By meeting students where they’re at each week, Troy’s able to teach students of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences the music they love, while making the skill of learning the guitar feel fun, light, and easy.
